Our discipleship approach goes beyond the individual boys; it reaches out to embrace their families as well. We understand that the journey of faith and growth is interconnected, encompassing both the boys and their guardians. Through this pillar, we aim to create a space for spiritual growth and authentic relationship-building for Kkumi project families as well.

How We Do It
Saturday Programs
Our bi-monthly Saturday Enrichment Program at the Kkumi Community Center is a vibrant hub of growth and transformation.
Boys Saturdays:
Designed to empower the boy-child with skills and values that will shape them into Godly men, these Saturdays are a cornerstone of our discipleship efforts. On one set of Saturdays, our boys are immersed in activities tailored to their unique journey. From practical skills like cooking, cleaning, and tailoring to fostering a strong sense of responsibility, these sessions equip them to be assets to their families and change the cultural narrative around their roles. As they master these skills, they learn that God's love extends into every aspect of life.
Sibling Saturdays:
On the other set of Saturdays, the community center comes alive with the energy of the boys and their siblings. Through interactive sessions, games, and joyful singing and dancing, the children learn about God's unwavering love for them. These days of shared laughter, nutritious meals, and unity strengthen the bonds of family and community.
One-On-One Mentorship
Our commitment to discipleship goes beyond group activities—it extends to one-on-one mentorship that serves as a guiding light for each boy's unique journey. Through these personal interactions, we create a safe and open space for meaningful conversations about spiritual growth, personal challenges, and aspirations. Time is our most valuable gift. Each boy receives dedicated time with our team to discuss their spiritual development, goals, and dreams. These one-on-one sessions foster trust, allowing boys to share their thoughts, doubts, and triumphs in an environment of unconditional support.
Children’s Camp
Twice a year, the Children's Camp becomes a beacon of God's love and light for the community. Born out of a desire to extend our impact, this camp welcomes not only Kkumi boys but all children in the community. It's a celebration of unity, joy, and shared values. The goal of this camp is to show God’s love in action. Through the camp's joyful atmosphere, children experience God's love firsthand. With strong role models leading the way, they witness what it means to live in alignment with faith, kindness, and compassion. The camp infuses love, laughter, and memorable experiences into their lives, leaving a lasting impact that radiates throughout the community.
